Lucy received her first piece of mail - her hospital bill :) The hospital sent the "pre-bill". It shows the itemized amount for all of your expenses before insurance is applied. Lucy's room and board? $369.00 Mind you we were released precisely 24.5 hours after Lucy was born. Mind you I was Lucy's board. Mind you we shared a room the entire time. So, if you are wondering how much it takes to rent a basic, run-of-the-mill rolling cart at the hospital, it's basically $369 a day. Thanks but I'd rather stay in a suite at the Westin or the Hyatt and pocket the change!
